Hello from Maggie

Hello! My name is Maggie. I am a student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, studying Industrial/Organizational Psychology. I grew up in Chicago but ventured out to Arizona to study business, communication, and psychology in undergrad. I learned that the desert isn’t for me, but enjoyed my time out there.

Now back in the greatest city, Chicago, I am taking every opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skills in the IO field. I enjoy learning, tend to ask lots of questions, and am on an adventure to find my niche in the IO world — which, interning at Monar has been a great step along the way!

What is your childhood nickname & why?
“Mags” – short and sweet

What do you like to munch on at the movie theater?
Hmmm, tough question, I would say I tend to go for the sour patch kids and/or a slurpee

Who has inspired you the most in life and why?
My grandmother and family friend, Erin. They are both the most amazing, thoughtful, intelligent people that have so much to share and give to the world. I hope in the future that I can be a mentor to someone like they have been to me.

If you were an animal, what would you be?
I am inclined to say a tiger, because that is my favorite animal but according to one of the many online quizzes, I am a penguin… not sure how I feel about that one.
