For the first time in the United States’ history, there are four generations working side-by-side in the workplace. The existence of these generations (Traditionalist, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Generation Y) in the workforce poses a unique challenge for today’s business environment – how to leverage the strengths of each generation to better the business.
What does this all mean?
Each generation brings something of value. It’s not about focusing on the differences, but embracing the different strengths. Giving organizations the opportunity to leverage the strengths of each generation to create a well-rounded cohesive work environment.
